Meet Hayley

Founder | Accredited Exercise Physiologist

Hayley is the founder of NeuroPilates Method and an Accredited Exercise Physiologist passionate about helping people move with greater confidence, strength and independence.

Hayley works with clients across Newcastle and Lake Macquarie, providing evidence-based Exercise Physiology and Pilates informed movement programs for people living with neurological conditions, complex health conditions, balance and mobility concerns, and age-related changes. Every program is individually tailored to help clients improve physical function, build confidence and achieve meaningful, long term outcomes.

Hayley's passion for movement began with a lifetime of dance. She fulfilled her dream of dancing and performing professionally both internationally and throughout Australia before pursuing a career in Exercise Physiology. It was during her dance career that she discovered Pilates as a powerful tool for improving movement, building strength and preventing injury - a philosophy that continues to shape her clinical approach today.

Since becoming an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, Hayley has developed extensive experience supporting people living with complex neurological conditions and movement disorders. She has worked with people living with Parkinson's disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Stroke, Spinal Cord Injury, Cerebral Palsy, Functional Neurological Disorder, Motor Neurone Disease and other complex neurological conditions. She is passionate about helping people maximise their physical capacity through personalised, evidence-based movement programs that support independence and participation in everyday life.

When she's not in the clinic, you'll usually find Hayley enjoying time at the beach with her husband, two children and two much-loved dogs.

Meet Liz

Physiotherapist

BACKGROUND

Liz Pearson is a deeply experienced coach, physiotherapist, and wellness educator who brings over 25 years of clinical, leadership, and movement-based experience to everything she does.

A registered coach, rehabilitation Pilates instructor, and trauma-informed yoga therapist, Liz blends science with soul to guide individuals and organisations toward healing, growth, and sustainable wellbeing.

Whether teaching Pilates, doing a yoga therapy session, physio or health coaching, Liz invites those she works with to show up fully - as they are, and explore with curiosity rather than judgment. She sees every session as an opportunity to unlock self-awareness, tap into resilience, and reconnect with the body’s innate capacity to heal.

With firsthand experience navigating a functional neurological disorder (FND) since 2016, Liz teaches and leads from a place of lived empathy and practical wisdom. She integrates daily and seasonal rhythms, subtle energy awareness, and trauma-informed practices into her work, creating spaces that feel both grounded and transformative.

Above all, Liz is a connector of people, ideas, and possibilities, helping others move from burnout to balance, from complexity to clarity, and from disconnection to deep presence.
