Individualised movement, guided by clinical expertise.

Clinical Pilates

At NeuroPilates Method, we provide Clinical Pilates across Newcastle and Lake Macquarie as part of our evidence-based Exercise Physiology and Physiotherapy services. Rather than a traditional Pilates class, Clinical Pilates uses Pilates as a movement-based tool to help improve strength, balance, posture, mobility and confidence.

Every program is individually tailored to your goals, ensuring exercises are safe, effective and appropriate for your needs.

What is Clinical Pilates?

Clinical Pilates is a personalised form of exercise that combines the principles of Pilates with evidence-based rehabilitation and movement science.

Rather than following a group exercise program, each session is individually prescribed and progressed by an Exercise Physiologist or Physiotherapist to support your movement, function and long-term health.

Our Pilates-informed approach may be suitable for people living with neurological conditions, balance and mobility concerns, complex health conditions, injury recovery and healthy ageing.

How Clinical Pilates Can Help?

Clinical Pilates can help you:

  • Improve strength and stability

  • Improve posture and movement quality

  • Improve balance and coordination

  • Build confidence with everyday movement

  • Increase flexibility and mobility

  • Support recovery from injury

  • Maintain independence and physical function

Who Can Benefit?

Clinical Pilates may be beneficial for people living with:

  • Neurological conditions

  • Balance and mobility concerns

  • Hypermobility

  • Healthy ageing

  • Workplace and compensable injuries

  • Complex health conditions affecting movement

Why Chose NeuroPilates Method?

Unlike a traditional Pilates studio, every Clinical Pilates program at NeuroPilates Method is individually prescribed by an Accredited Exercise Physiologist or Physiotherapist.

By combining evidence-based exercise with the principles of Pilates, neuroplasticity and motor learning, we help you improve movement quality, build physical capacity and move with greater confidence.

“I’ve found that attending regular Pilates sessions has strengthened my body, reduced muscle tightness and has helped me better understand my body. I’m constantly learning how my body functions on good and bad days, which then helps me in my day-to-day life. Sessions with Hayley are always supportive and fun and her experience means that she can tailor each session to how I’m feeling on the day and can adapt exercises to best suit my body”
